Save the Date!

Please join us on Friday, April 26 from 5-7, for the opening reception of “Modern Stitches” Needlepoint by Sally Baer. The evening will commence with a talk by the artist followed by light refreshments. Sally’s original work, designed and hand stitched by the artist, will be on display from April 18 – May 19.

Sally’s interest in Needlepoint began as a young girl, watching her grandmother create magnificent Bargello designs from scratch, a skill which made the glorious canvases seemingly emerge overnight. Sally’s love of design has long been augmented by her management skills. She studied business and economics at Simmons College before earning her graduate degree in Landscape Architecture at Harvard’s Graduate School of Design. Sally left the corporate world after many years to focus on her creative pursuits. She founded BB Needlepoint Designs, selling her unique designs at trade and trunk shows and teaching classes and workshops.

Sally will be hosting Artful Stitching Techniques Workshop at Woodruff’s Art Center on Sunday, April 28th from 2-4. Pre-registration is required, details at
