Virtual Diaper Drive to Help Local Families

Virtual Diaper Drive to Help Local Families

Local Business Helps Raise Money for Diaper Needs on Cape Cod

MASHPEE, MA – RCA Electric & Generators hosted a virtual diaper drive to benefit local families on Cape Cod. RCA pledged to donate $100 for every generator sold during the month of May to A Baby Center.

A Baby Center purchases diapers through the National Diaper Bank Network at a low cost. Normally, they hold drives where donations can be dropped off in person. Due to limiting contact and a higher need for diapers than before, their efforts have moved to online.

“With the financial impacts that are emerging from COVID-19, there is a growing number of families that struggle to pay their bills and afford basic needs like diapers, it is a huge challenge,” Randy Agnew said. “They rely on local baby pantries like A Baby Center to help them meet their diaper needs. Any additional assistance we can provide to help a local family and the community is so important to us.”

RCA is very pleased to announce that they were able to raise a total of $3,700 from the generosity of their customers and through their generator sales in May.

RCA Electric & Generators is a family owned business founded in 1990 by Randy & Donna Agnew.  RCA is a full-service electrical contractor as well as a Generac Generator Premier dealer & Mitsubishi Ductless dealer.
