The Davenport Companies 15-Year Club Induction

THE DAVENPORT COMPANIES INDUCT EIGHT INTO THE ’15-YEAR CLUB’

(SOUTH YARMOUTH, MA) – The Davenport Companies inducted eight new members into their 15-Year Club on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at a ceremony held at Red Jacket Beach Resort in South Yarmouth, MA.

The honor recognizes a decade-and-a-half of service to the South Yarmouth-based company with a cocktail party, video presentation and dinner.

The Davenport Companies began the tradition 15 years after they were incorporated in 1956 and have held the celebration annually.

The 2019 team members inducted into The 15-Year Club include: Cheryl A. Coffin of Red Jacket Resorts, Alan J. Coffin of Blue Rock Golf Course, Eric Bright of Thirwood Place, Laurie J. Salvucci of Davenport Realty Trust, Roger LeMay of Thirwood Place, Josianne Piva of Green Harbor Resort, John P. Donelan of Davenport Realty Trust and Starmella Kram of Red Jacket Resorts.

This year’s group included a husband and wife, Alan and Cheryl Coffin.

“The success of The Davenport Companies is a direct result of the dedication and hard work demonstrated each day by our many team members,” said DeWitt Davenport, CEO of The Davenport Companies.

“The yearly celebration helps to highlight the importance of our staff to the entire operation,” he said.

The longevity of so many team members across all their businesses has been a hallmark of The Davenport Companies for more than 60 years. One team member who attended the ceremony has been with the company for 44 years.

“It was an honor to celebrate the inductees and their 15 years of service to our company as we all joined with fellow team members, friends and family to mark the occasion,” said The Davenport Companies president, Paul Rumul.

The Davenport Companies is a fourth-generation family-owned company that employs over 1,300 people at more than a dozen companies throughout New England and beyond, including commercial and residential real estate, senior living, construction, resort hotels, storage facilities and other service businesses.
