The Boys & Girls Club Has Rescheduled their Golf Tournament at New Seabury for Monday, August 31!

It’s a new date and slightly different rules but the Boys & Girls Club of Cape Cod’s  Annual Golf Tournament will be held on the same great ocean-front golf course at the Club at New Seabury where is has been held for the last 23 years on Monday, August 31, 2019.  The Boys & Girls Club is planning on staggered tee times all morning long, with food served course-side and at the Clubhouse right off the grill!

For safety’s sake there will be no big dinner at the end of the day, however, the Club will have a great online auction and be raffling off two standing paddleboards, complete with chains and oars, thanks to help from Mocean.

The Club has sponsorships available as well. “Tournament sponsorships provide businesses with great visibility and are more needed than ever this year. The huge demand for a safe place for kids to go when parents have to go back to work to catch up on housing and utility bills, along with the much higher cost of doing business under the safety restrictions of COVID19, mean that the Boys & Girls Club is working hard to provide a safety net for Cape Cod kids, and we are squeezing every dollar to do it,” said Ruth Provost, Club executive director. “With our income also being restricted thanks to the virus, every cent  invested as a either a sponsor or player this year means that we can continue to open up in person for kids this fall, and provide tutoring and programs online all over Cape Cod for those who are at home. Thanks to our current sponsors for helping to keep our doors open for 1.089 children: the New England Patriot’s Charitable Foundation, the Mashpee Concert Committee, the Gargiulo family, Bosun’s Marine, Mashpee Commons, and the Flying Bridge.  We hope that more local businesses will join them.”

The Club has also announced a great special.  if you bring in a new foursome, they will give you a free tee sign on the course, a $250 value!
