SCORE and The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod Offering Small Business Certificate Program for Skilled Trades Workforce
Hyannis, MA (October 18, 2018) — The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod has partnered with SCORE to offer members of the Cape’s skilled trade workforce the opportunity to earn a certificate in Small Business Management. The workshop series – “Building Business for the Skilled Trades” – is designed for contractors, plumbers, electricians and landscapers who want to take their business to the next level. It’s appropriate for those who want to grow their current business or those who want to start or acquire a new one.
The 7-part curriculum will be led by veteran business leaders and tradespeople who have extensive experience in the small business industry. The workshops will explore the competitive environment, sales and marketing, organizational tools for functionality and profitability, and financial tools available for small businesses.
Classes will be held on November 5, 19 and 26; December 10 and 17; and January 7 and 14; from 5:30 – 7:30 PM at Cape Cod Beer in Hyannis. Light dinner and beverages will be offered.
The program fee is $199 and some scholarships are available. Please note that the class is limited to 25 participants and enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis.
