Parents Supporting Parents, Inc is a non-profit that advocates and educates families about the disease of substance use disorder (SUD) and provides resources and peer support with compassion and hope for both families and loved ones affected by the disease of SUD. Our Parents Supporting Parents Non- Profit Goal is to provide sober living scholarships for those who suffer from substance use disorder. All scholarships are in memory of those we have lost associated with the group.
Our group welcomes anyone who has a loved one that struggles with substance use disorder or has lost someone to substance use disorder. We meet weekly on Monday’s at 6:30 pm at the Mashpee Chamber of Commerce. (during Covid we meet on Zoom). We are all at different stages of the journey and all have something to offer others depending on our experiences. Every 2-3 weeks we bring in a speaker in recovery to share their story. Anyone interested in attending meetings can contact us through our website or email us at capecodpsp@gmail.com.
For 11 years, our business has provided a necessary service related to the Opiate crisis. We have given back to the community as a partner with the Mashpee Substance Use Task Force and and are so grateful for the Chamber to have had the office as our meeting location.
