Outerland is a full-service landscaping and property services company based in Mashpee, MA since 1991.
In addition to being one of the Cape’s largest landscaping companies. The space we operate in is busy with players of all sizes with varying definitions of landscaping quality – we define success on a different basis. We stand apart by prioritizing what is routinely considered secondary to the service provided. We focus on people first, our clients and our employees, the experiences of both, and consistently deliver at a high level.
Outerland is committed to cultivating landscapes with care. We start by prioritizing the care of our team—nurturing their growth and nourishing their aspirations. After all, happy, fulfilled, people are the true source, and direct result of, great service. With this always in mind, our behaviors reflect this priority. We focus on assembling good people who come together as a team to provide an unrivaled experience for our clients every time because we know that experience is everything.
Our community involvement has included participation in the annual Homeless For The Holidays campaign as well as the Mashpee Chamber Christmas Parade. We have hosted/sponsored food and toy drives at our facility and over the years our company has contributed to numerous fundraisers for various charities and community efforts. Occasionally projects within the community, including 9/11 Remembrances, Boys and Girls Club facility work and Christmas decoration have required support in the form of labor or machines and it has been our pleasure to help as needed.
Outerland used to be called Maffei, so why the change?
This change was driven by many factors. The first being a feeling that as we grow and continue to merge/acquire other landscaping firms, both in our area and beyond, we wanted a brand that could grow with our vision of growing as a company, while still maintaining our commitment to a level of service and attention to detail that you only get with a local firms.
As part of this, we are going to be bringing in our first merger later in March, when a sister company of ours, based in Rhode Island, will become part of Outerland.
