Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod Announces Wendy Cullinan as New Executive Director!
Wendy will take over for Vicki Goldsmith, who is retiring next month.
In announcing the appointment, Nancy Smith, President of the Board of Directors, said “Wendy has been a key member of our staff leadership team for over six years and we are extremely pleased that she will continue her leadership of Habitat Cape Cod, as our Executive Director.”
After an open search process, Wendy was the Board’s unanimous and enthusiastic choice to lead Habitat Cape Cod into its next period of growth.
Wendy has been Resource Development Director for Habitat Cape Cod since 2013 managing all fundraising operations, including grant proposals, corporate relations, marketing and communications. She also worked closely with and grew our relationships with the faith-based community, and volunteer committees focusing on special events and ReStore development.
Vicki will be working through the end of December, with Wendy assuming her new role on January 1st.
“It has been the honor of a lifetime to work for and with Vicki Goldsmith. Through her fearless and passionate leadership, the organization is building its 150th home this year.
Since joining Habitat in 2013, I have seen firsthand the impacts Habitat for Humanity has on the lives of its partner families, the hearts of its volunteers, and the spirit of the communities it serves.
I am thrilled to become Habitat’s 2nd full-time Executive Director, and excited to work with an amazing and dedicated staff and volunteer corps to continue the important work of providing safe, secure and affordable homes.”-Wendy Cullinan
