Established in 1934, Camp Farley (located on Mashpee-Wakeby Lake) is celebrating its 85th Annivesary!
Camp Farley is a co-ed day and overnight camp for kids 6 to 15 years of age. There is an LIT (Leaders in Training, formerly called CIT) programs for teens 16 to 18. Parcipitation in the LIT program qualifies as community service credit in may high schools. Our summer season, in weekly sessions, runs from June 30 to August 23. Register now while we still have some availability!
Lots has changed at Camp Farley! There is now a new Executive Director, Jacqueline Porro. There are also new board members (some former campers and counselors) and over the past year, there have been renovation made to the grounds and buildings. This year marks the 25th year with the summer director, Joyce Obertha!
While there has been numerous changes, the best of Camp Farley-its unique traditions-remain. Camp Farley is still the same “old fashioned” camp with all the traditional programs, including horseback riding and animal care. “We are still Camp Farley Strong!” There is also a twice-weekly bonfire where everyone sings those silly, spirited, and some originally composed songs.
Most of the counselors come from the UK and other international locations, which adds interest and new perspective for the campers. And, best of call, everything is unplugged! Electronics free!
Camp Farley invites Chamber members and friends to tour the camp.
