Cape Abilities celebrates its 50th Anniversary!

Hyannis MA, July 18, 2019 – Cape Abilities, a leading non-profit health care provider on Cape Cod since 1968, is proud to present its 50th Anniversary Celebration, with Special Guest, Jung-Ho Pak, Artistic Director and Conductor of the Cape Symphony, on Thursday, August 22, 2019 from 5:30pm – 8:00pm at the Resort and Conference Center in Hyannis.

The public is invited to attend “A Celebration in Story”, a salute to 50 years of creating life-changing opportunities for individuals with disabilities on Cape Cod!

“This celebration is a reflection on the five-decades of achievements of our participants, the contributions of our dedicated staff and the unwavering devotion of our amazing volunteers,” notes Cape Abilities President and CEO (right, with Cape Abilities participant Mike Rhodes). “And it will give us the chance to highlight the commitment of loyal community partners like the Jung-Ho and the Cape Symphony, who recognize the importance of supporting the Cape community and are determined to work collectively with us, much like a symphony, to make our community more inclusive.”

Creating Opportunity for individuals with disabilities has always driven the high-quality services and supports offered by Cape Abilities. For 50 years, this well-respected agency has provided life-changing services, coupled with diverse community opportunities that empower the people we serve to achieve meaningful and valued roles in society.
