KEEP THEM HOPPING!
A BOYS & GIRLS CLUB NEIGHBORHOOD INITIATIVE TO HELP KIDS THROUGH
THE LOCKDOWN AND ENCOURAGE FITNESS
The Boys & Girls Club of Cape Cod is sponsoring a Cape-wide event to help cheer kids up while they are at home, get them out to enjoy the spring weather, and encourage fitness! It’s called KEEP THEM HOPPING!
All homeowners on Cape Cod have to do to brighten the day of our Cape Cod kids is get out there and draw a hopscotch board on the sidewalk in front of your house!
When the kids go out for a walk with their parents, (masks on, of course), they can stop and hop their way through all the hopscotch boards on their street!
No chalk? Don’t worry, the Boys & Girls Club has found a link with instructions on how to make chalk at home. Google it our use http://www.mommysuite.com/3-sidewalk-chalk-alternatives/
“Let’s flood the Cape with hopping kids!” said Ruth Provost, Boys & Girls Club of Cape Cod executive director. “Take a picture of your hopscotch board and post it on your social media, using the hashtag #KeepThemHopping”
The Club asks you to share this with your friends and neighbors and help to get the word out. #KeepThemHopping
