The Mashpee Chamber of Commerce is a dynamic and growing non-profit organization, providing its members with ways to develop their businesses through networking events, education seminars, promotional avenues in digital and print media, and more. There are approximately 330 members of the Chamber who have access to these networking opportunities, referral systems, insurance benefits, educational sessions and sponsorship opportunities at community events. Through their participation, these businesses and organizations help the Chamber raise funds for three Mashpee High School Scholarships.

The Mashpee Chamber is our friend and partner, helping to strengthen the town and build a sense of community. We know that Katy and the Chamber are just an email or phone call away and a wonderful resource for local small businesses like ours. Connecting our community and helping it succeed is what it's all about!
We at CapeSpace immediately felt welcomed and embraced by the Mashpee Chamber when we moved into our Mashpee Commons office in 2019. Katy does such an incredible job of building a sense of community here in Mashpee, and she and the chamber are always here for us. We love the relationship we’ve built with Katy and the chamber and are beyond thrilled to have them as part of the CapeSpace family, as they now call CapeSpace Mashpee home. Every town needs a chamber like the Mashpee Chamber.
The Mashpee Chamber is my business partner. They endorse and promote my commitment to SHOP LOCAL, and reliably help me demonstrate that to my current and prospective customers. That makes the Chamber a tremendous asset to Mashpee!
Laurentide at Mashpee Commons has enjoyed a strong partnership with the Mashpee Chamber of Commerce since 2018 as the community was being built and developed. The relationship with the Chamber made a tremendous difference in creating awareness in Mashpee and the surrounding area of Mashpee’s newest and only senior living community. The ability to host networking events, educational programs and community meetings aided us in educating the area of our services and demonstrate first had the product and services we offer to seniors. We will always credit our strong Grand Opening to the support shown us by the Chamber of Commerce staff, board of directors and members. Mashpee is a vibrant town in so many ways because of the community spirit and involvement and the Chamber plays a vital role in that vibrancy.
Katy Acheson was named Executive Director of the Mashpee Chamber of Commerce in early May of 2021. Katy had served as Executive Assistant at the Mashpee Chamber since October of 2013, which allowed for a smooth transition to the role of Director.
Katy also serves as business liaison to the Mashpee Substance Use Task Force, the Mashpee Diversity and Inclusion Committee, and the Friends of the Mashpee Library. Her role on these committees ensures that she’s not only participating in the business community, but in the Mashpee community-at-large. It takes a healthy, connected, and inclusive community to support a diverse, connected, and inclusive business community.
Katy recieved the Cape & Plymouth Business Magazine honor of 40 Under 40 in the Fall of 2021.
Katy serves as Local Cape Chambers Collaborative (LC3) Chairperson. She was elected by her peers on January 13th, 2022.
