4th of July Fireworks and Parades on the Upper Cape

The 4th of July is next week and we’re very eager to see spectacular fireworks shows! Parades will also be held throughout the next week. Here is a list of fireworks and parades taking place in the Upper Cape Cod and Canal Region.

FIREWORKS

Sunday, July 1st
Mashpee Community Picnic and Fireworks at Mashpee High School.
Includes music, games, food vendors, face-painting, and pony rides.
Fireworks will begin at dusk.

Tuesday, July 4th
Falmouth Fireworks Display at Falmouth Heights Beach.
This firework show has been noted as being one of the ten best fireworks display in the country by Travel and Leisure Magazine. This year feature artist is Country music singer Ayla Brown! The free concert will be from 6:45 PM – 8:45 PM. Firework display begins at dusk.

This summer holiday season, please be considerate to your neighbors, veterans, shift workers, and pets who find fireworks and other loud noises frightening or disruptive.

PARADES

These parades feature festively decorated floats, marching bands, clowns, illuminated boats, and dogs dressed at Uncle Sam. These are just some of what you might see at one of these patriotic parades July 4th.

Barnstable/West Barnstable 4th of July Parade
9:00 AM along Main Street in Barnstable.

Bourne on the 4th of July Parade
10:00 AM along Main Street in Bourne.

Centerville 4th of July Parade
10:00 AM from Centerville Elementary School at 658 Bay Lane in Centerville.

Cotuit 4th of July Parade
11:00 AM from Cotuit Post Office at 45 School Street in Cotuit.

Falmouth July 4th Bike and Carriage Parade
10:00 AM from the Falmouth Village Green on Main Street in Falmouth.

Hyannis 4th of July Parade
4:00 PM from the intersection of Ocean and Main Streets in Hyannis.

Hyannis Inner Harbor Boat Parade
Starts at 2:00 PM in Hyannis Harbor. Best viewing is along Ocean Street at Hyannis Harbor.

Sandwich 4th of July Parade
10:00 AM from Henry T. Wing School on Water Street in Sandwich.

Sandwich Illuminated Boat Parade
9:00 PM at Shawmee Pond on Water and Grove Street in Sandwich.
