A word to our Habitat volunteers.

Social Distancing…Together
Another oxymoron.
Together is Habitat.

It’s who we are, what we do. We work together for good. For the good of humanity, the good of community. For the good of the families we build with, get to know and grow to love.

Social Distancing is not Habitat. It doesn’t feel right but it’s something we must do.

I’ve never been more aware of how the decisions I make are affecting others. Please know that I will do everything I can to see all of you back on our Habitat construction sites, where you belong, where I know you want to be. Our sites should not be silent.

We want you back in the ReStores, on the front lines as representatives of Habitat Cape Cod and raising funds to help build houses.

We need you back in our offices, helping with homeownership applications and offering guidance during planning meetings.

You belong mentoring the families that buy our homes, helping out with events and so much more.

We will move forward with faith that the strong foundation built by all of you will carry this organization through this daunting time and bring us back where we belong…together.

God Bless. Be well.
With love,

A word to our donors.

I began this email speaking to our precious volunteers, which many of you are.

I will end it by saying if you are at all able to support us during this most difficult time, please do. We have ten families whose homes are under construction and we need to complete them.

We also have applicants waiting to hear if they will be raising walls with us this fall, as we have nine homes we were planning to start.

We need you now more than ever. Please make a gift today.

Anything you give will be helpful and deeply appreciated.

God Bless. Be well.
With love,
