The Mashpee Commons by Design Team Announcing Tuesday Talks

We’re excited to announce the next phase of the Mashpee Commons by Design community planning process: “Tuesday Talks”

To those of you who joined hundreds of your neighbors and colleagues for our public visioning workshops in November and December, we thank you for your energetic participation and for your wonderful suggestions!

If you attended one or more of the workshops, you likely saw that there were common themes that emerged. The Tuesday Talks will provide an opportunity to dive into those themes further with subject area experts on the local, regional, and national level, and will provide opportunities for attendees to engage in the conversation, share ideas, and ask questions.

We hope you will join us at the following Tuesday Talks, and will invite your family, friends, and neighbors to participate:

1. Housing on the Cape
Tuesday, March 6, 6:00 p.m.
Mashpee Commons Storefront located at 17 Market Street

2. Infrastructure, Public Space, and Systems Planning
Tuesday, March 13, 6:00 p.m.
Mashpee Public Library

3. Creating a Stable Economic Base for Mashpee
Tuesday, March 27, 6:00 p.m.
Mashpee Public Library

4. Zoning to Meet the Needs of the Future
Tuesday, April 10, 6:00 p.m.
Mashpee Public Library

In addition, we will be hosting open houses prior to the start of each of the Tuesday Talks to review the collection of data and ideas that the public visioning workshops produced. The open houses will begin at 5:00 p.m. each night, and are open to all interested parties.

We look forward to seeing you there!
