“Substance Abuse and Mental Health in the Workplace: Awareness, Prevention and Intervention Solutions for the Employer”

Dear Community Member:

Many organizations, employers, businesses and people in our community have been actively discussing the issue of substance abuse on Cape Cod for the last several months. The Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce is committed to being a part of the solution and creating partnership opportunities to continue to address this issue.

On Tuesday March 15th, we will serve as host to the Cape Cod Community College’s Center for Corporate and Professional Education (CCPE) as they present their program “Substance Abuse and Mental Health in the Workplace: Awareness, Prevention and Intervention Solutions for the Employer“. The CCPE will offer a presentation on their 3-part workshop series, led by an Employee Assistance Program administrator and an HR administrator about substance abuse and mental health in the workplace. The presentation’s focus is squarely on employers – how to raise awareness and understanding among staff and how to prevent and manage these issues in the workplace.

We hope you will join us.
