February 7, 2018, Hyannis, MA … Stewart Painting will be offering their Painting Apprentice Boot Camp beginning on March 3rd through Stewart Painting Academy located at their Hyannis office. The 4-week course will be held on consecutive Saturdays, from 7:00 am to 9:00 am, beginning on Saturday, March 3rd, 2018.
The course will be $150 and, for those that complete the course, they will receive an opportunity to apply for a job with a local painting company. Additionally if they are hired by Stewart Painting, the $150 fee will be refunded. For those not hired, they will now have all the skills necessary to be a valuable asset to any painting company.
“We started this program four years ago in part because we saw the chance to offer Veterans, students and lower income workers an opportunity to learn a professional trade that could develop into a career,” said Sheldon Stewart, President of Stewart Painting. “It was also a way for us to identify the best of the best and offer them a job.”
Each week there will be one hour of classroom education including PDCA
(Painting Decorating Contractors of America) standards, and the second hour will be hands on skills training. Upon completion, you will receive a certificate of training from Stewart Painting Academy. Some may be offered an apprentice position with Stewart Painting, others will be able to take their new skills to work for themselves or another painting company.
Class size is limited, reserve your space today online at: www.stewartpaint.com or by calling 508-362-8023 or 781-749-4215.
