The Mashpee Women’s Club is a social, educational, and charitable organization located in Mashpee, Massachusetts. It held its first meeting on December 9, 1997. Started by a small group of newcomers to the town, it has grown to a membership numbering in the hundreds. We welcome women not only from Mashpee but also from all towns on the Cape. We provide an opportunity for women to gather and enjoy good company, good dining, a host of activities, and to add and contribute to the life of our community. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the Mashpee Women’s Club throughout its history has donated over $200,000 to projects within the community and continues to contribute to many charitable projects throughout the Cape, each of which holds special importance to its members. The Mashpee Women’s Club awards two scholarships annually to 12th grade college-bound Mashpee residents selected by its Board of Directors.
The Club provides an opportunity for women of Mashpee to gather in a social setting and share educational and recreational experiences. Members enjoy monthly luncheons featuring guest speakers, and it encourages and supports its members to participate in the many social activities offered by the Club such as Book Groups; Couples, Dessert, and Marathon Bridge Groups; Canasta; Knitting; Couples and Solo Dining Groups; Memoirs Writing Group; special events and trips, and more.
The Mashpee Women’s Club is the proud recipient of the Mashpee Chamber of Commerce 2006 Community Commitment Award.
