Mashpee High School Race to Benefit the Boys and Girls Club

The “Mashpee High School Race to Benefit the Boys and Girls Club” is fast approaching. This 5k fun run/walk will be done as part of Austin Gray’s senior project and will help raise money for the local Boys and Girls club. Austin has been a member of the Boys and Girls Club since the 1st grade and is using this project as a way to give back. With help from the Mashpee Chamber of Commerce, Austin will be overseeing all aspects of the event in order to gain skills in leadership, organisation, and event planning.

As a three sport athlete (soccer, winter track, and spring tack) at the high school, Austin chose his project as a way to interact with the community whilst being involved in something he loves to do. This road race provides a way for him to work on business skills needed for college, while continuing to be involved in some sort of athletics.

So, How do I sign up? You can sign up for the event by clicking the link at the bottom of this post. The race has a total cost of $25.00 and includes a t-shirt on race day. For more information or sponsorship opportunities contact Austin at graymaustin@gmail.com. We hope you will come out to support this great event.
