Hurricane Harvey Relief Collection

The Town of Mashpee will be collecting items to be sent to the victims of Hurricane Harvey.

Mashpee Commons has generously donated space at 17 Market St, (formerly Zinnia), and the Town of Mashpee will be accepting donations at this location on:

Wednesday, September 6 from 10 am until 4 pm

Thursday, September 7 from 10 am until 4 pm

Suggested list of items to donate:

New undergarments and socks (labeled and sorted by size and gender), shampoo, soap, deodorant, toothpaste, floss, toothbrushes, water, juice, fans, dehumidifiers, canned or individually packaged non-perishable foods, cots, sheets, pillows, baby formula, sleeping bags, towels, toilet paper, paper towels, wipes, adult and baby diapers, feminine hygiene products

The Town will be coordinating its efforts with the Cape Cod Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund, coordinator- Joshua Walbert – (774) 521-5688. They will be holding a fundraiser on September 15th at the Trowbridge Tavern in Bourne, a “Stuff a U-Haul” event on September 21st and 22nd and they will be transporting the collected items to Texas on September 23rd.

The Cape Cod Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund will also be accepting donations from now until September 21st at the White Lion Baking Company in Brickyard Marketplace 439 Nathan Ellis Highway (Route 151) in Mashpee. Contacts: Liz or Chris at (774) 228-2946
