Find out about the New Fair Labor Standards Act, Pay Regulations, and Paid Family Leave
Bourne –The Cape Cod Canal Region, Sandwich, Falmouth & Mashpee Chambers in conjunction with the National Federation of Independent Business will jointly sponsor a forum on Tuesday, June 7, 7:30am at the Upper Cape Cod Regional Technical School, 220 Sandwich Road, Canalside Dining Room, Bourne.
Find out about the New Fair Labor Standards Act that has sweeping changes to the federal wage and hour law. Most significantly, the new regulations change the exemptions to required overtime by updating the salary and compensation levels needed for workers to be exempt. Other state legislation will also be discussed, such as state pay regulations and workplace bullying.
