Clean Up Volunteers Needed this Saturday

Celebrate Earth Month with the Mashpee Chamber of Commerce
Volunteers Needed for Community Clean Up Planned for Saturday, April 9th

The Mashpee Chamber of Commerce is joining forces with Viridian Energy to clean up the Industrial Park in Mashpee Saturday morning April 9th from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm. Volunteers are still needed to and we appreciate all the help we can get.

“The last time we cleaned up the Industrial Park we picked up just under a ton of trash,” said Mary Lou Palumbo, the Executive Director of the Mashpee Chamber of Commerce. “Some people don’t have any respect for our environment. I can’t believe some of the items that we picked up last time.”

Anyone willing to help should report to the Mashpee Chamber of Commerce office at 9 am which located at the Mashpee Commons North Side on 5 North Market Street. Coffee, pastries, and water will be supplied by Stop & Shop and then everyone will head to the Industrial Park with their assignments.

All volunteers will receive Tee shirts from Viridian Energy and trash pickers are being supplied by Mashpee’s Department of Public Works. Special thanks to Capewide Enterprises for supplying the trash container for the day.
Please call the Mashpee Chamber of Commerce at 508-477-0792 for more information.
