For the past ten years, the Mashpee Chamber of Commerce has held the Annual Christmas Parade. This family-friendly parade has grown in size and is now a local holiday tradition for many in Mashpee. The thing about the Mashpee Christmas Parade is that it’s held at night time, so every float is brilliantly illuminated to reflect the spirit of the season! You should definitely come to the Commons and observe this wonderful family tradition.
The 10th Annual Mashpee Chamber Christmas Parade will be on Saturday, December 12th. The parade kicks off at 5:30 PM. There will be a magic show for the children before the parade and there will be hot cocoa going around for all the spectators. You do have the option of participating in the parade and you can fill out the Parade Entry form at http://mashpeechamber.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/10th-Annual-Mashpee-Chamber-Christmas-Parade-Entry-Form.pdf
The parade begins at the Mashpee Public Library and then will proceed through the Mashpee Commons, across Route 28, and into South Cape Marketplace. The exact parade route will be posted on the Mashpee Chamber Christmas Parade website as well as the Facebook page as soon as it is completed. The parade will include a whole variety of floats, marching bands, and much more. Make sure you’ve charged up your phone or digital camera, you’ll be taking a lot of pictures.
